This ADA-compliant cane rail for drinking fountains extends 18" horizontally out from the wall, bends at 90 degrees, and extends 22" to the floor. There is a welded horizontal support to reinforce the bar that is 6" off the floor; this support also serves for cane detection. The configuration of the cane rail grab bar meets ADA requirements for protruding objects such as drinking fountains.
